Yina and I LOVE Shelby Lynne. Her last CD "Just Alittle Lovin'" solidified our love. So when we heard she was coming back to Portland (we saw her last April) we got our tickets the very first day. On the ticket was a person by the name of Raul Malo. We thought he would be opening for her. The four of us (Don and Vic) started the evening at Ken's Artisan Pizza which has been dubbed Portland's Best Pizza and the dub is correct. Then on to The Aladdin. Great seats and we soon found out that Shelby was opening for Raul. Who was this man? Turns out he is this fantastic Country Latin (is that possible?) singer and his band is just as great. Yina and I danced the night away. And driving home I realized that life is at its' best when dancing to the beat, with a favorite girlfriend at your side.
